[R-br] Problema para instalar R.2.15.2.tar.gz no ubuntu 12.04 64bits

O rgdal precisa do GDAL e do PROJ.4, que são programas externos ao R (isso
está na página do pacote no CRAN
http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/rgdal/index.html). Você precisa
instalar os pacotes necessários antes

sudo apt-get install gdal-bin libgdal-dev libgdal1 libgdal1-dev libproj0
libproj-dev

Quanto aos pacotes duplicados vc pode deletar um ou mais diretórios que vc
acha que nao sao necessarios, e definir uma (ou mais) biblioteca pessoal
com a variavel de ambiente R_LIBS dento do ~/.Renviron, por exemplo a minha
é

R_LIBS=~/R_environment/my_library

e reinstale os pacotes. Veja ?.libPaths e ?packageStatus
