[R-br] Ler .xls no Rcmdr no Ubuntu

Provavelmente vc não deve ter o jdk instalado. Tente rodar no terminal:
sudo apt-get build-dep r-cran-rjava
e depois entre no R tente instalar o rJava novamente.
