[R-br] problema memória

Bom dia a todos.

Tentei unir duas planilhas, com o comando merge, porém aparece o  
seguinte erro:
Error: cannot allocate vector of size 16.0 Mb
In addition: Warning messages:

O que posso fazer para solucionar isso?
